Firewall Operations Engineer

A company is looking for an Operations Firewall Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Tier 3 support for firewall incidents, changes, and problem resolution across enterprise environments

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA / FTD, Check Point)

Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Ansible, etc.) to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in firewall operations and network security

Expert-level knowledge of firewall platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA / FTD, or Checkpoint

Strong understanding of TCP / IP, routing, NAT, VPNs, and security policies

Proficiency in automation / scripting (Python, Ansible, Bash, or similar)

Experience with centralized management systems (Panorama, Cisco FMC, and Checkpoint Domain Manager)
