Local Travel Registered Nurse - Neurology - Days - Newburgh, IN

Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM | 12-Hour Days

Weekly Compensation : Up to $2,550 Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Local Travel Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract with one of our trusted hospital partners in Newburgh, Indiana . This is a great opportunity for a skilled Neuro RN who is looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive team and trauma-level facility.

Position Highlights :

13-week local travel contract

Competitive weekly pay up to $2,550 (based on experience)

12-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM)

No on-call / callback requirements

Job Responsibilities :

Provide high-level neurological nursing care to patients with acute and chronic neuro conditions

Administer medications and perform complex neuro assessments

Monitor changes in neurological status and report to the medical team

Collaborate with physicians, PT / OT, and other team members to coordinate care

Care for stroke, seizure, and post-surgical neuro patients

Document accurately using EPIC EMR (checkoff required)

Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families

Education & Certification Requirements :

Active Compact RN License (must be current and unencumbered)

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)

AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Experience Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of recent neuro nursing experience

At least 1 completed travel assignment

Trauma Level II experience required

Recent EPIC charting experience required (checkoff class will be provided)
