Now Hiring : Civil Engineers (Assistant PE → Senior PE)
Location : San Diego, CA
Full-Time | Multiple Levels (Assistant, Associate, Senior)
Salary Range : $100k–$200k+ (DOE, with Principal-track potential at senior level)
We are expanding our civil engineering team in San Diego and seeking talented professionals—from experienced Assistant Project Engineers to Senior Civil Project Engineers—who want to contribute to high-impact land development and public infrastructure projects. These roles offer mentorship, growth, and the chance to work with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team shaping the region’s future.
What You’ll Do
- Depending on level, responsibilities may include :
- Supervise and mentor engineering and design staff; assign tasks and ensure quality.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, scopes, and deliverables.
- Support or lead client and public-agency coordination.
- Prepare fee proposals, bid packages, and regulatory documentation.
- Conduct preliminary engineering studies, constructability reviews, and design development.
- Oversee or prepare plans for land development, public works, grading, utilities, stormwater, drainage, pipelines, and capital improvement projects.
- Provide construction support services and field coordination.
Qualifications (by role level)
Assistant / Associate Level :
BSCE degree; California PE required or preferred5–10+ years of experience in land development or public worksStrong communication, decision-making, and client-interaction skillsProficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3DAbility to manage tasks, support design teams, and coordinate with agenciesSenior Level :
BSCE degree; California PE required15+ years of experience in land development and / or public infrastructureProven leadership, client management, and business development skillsExpertise in California codes, standards, and local jurisdictional proceduresExperience producing and reviewing conceptual, preliminary, and final engineering designsAbility to mentor teams and potentially grow into principal ownership trackTechnical Experience (Combined)
