Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,766 per week in Bismarck, ND

Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist Profession : Cath Lab Technologist Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday - Friday Hours per Shift : 10 hours, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM on-call 1-2 days per week and every third weekend Experience : Minimum 1 year required License : Requires active state Rad Tech License for ARRT credentialed candidates Certifications : BLS, RCIS or ARRT (ARRT must be registered with NDMIRT) Must-Have : - Experience in panning; scrubbing experience is not required but preferred - Familiarity with IABP, Impella, Shockwave, Laser, IFR / FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, and 4 port manifold - Experience with IV starts is preferred, but not mandatory - Proficient with EMR including EPIC and Philips Xper (Hemo) Description : Clienttion badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start. The position involves scrubbing in and / or panning for procedures. Common patient diagnoses include emergent revascularization, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, and peripheral diagnostics / interventions. Responsibilities include IV starts and assisting in procedures such as cardioversion, TEE, devices, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacemaker placements. The department has three labs and manages an average of four cases per day. Call response time is expected to be within 20 minutes. Weeknight call hours are from 3 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM. Weekend call is required every third weekend, covering from Friday to Monday morning. Holidays require on-call coverage every other holiday. Team lead schedules shifts, which are posted 17 days in advance for six weeks at a time. The role may involve floating to assist in Heart and Vascular pre / post procedures as needed. Dress code includes provided scrubs, and personal locker locks and hospital-designated shoes are required. Candidates must have 7 or fewer days of requested time off for the 13-week contract. Additional time off requests will not be approved.
