Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. The factories-as-a-service team analyzes our current customers' production and supply chain challenges, builds data-driven presentations, designs and scopes factories of the future, and assists the Federal and Strategic sales teams in forming long-term partnerships with the DOD, primes, and other manufacturers.

This team is responsible for scoping, design, cost, schedule, and technology analysis, as well as proposals for major programs and manufacturing transformations across all manufacturing methods and domains.

With several major programs in progress, we are hiring rapidly for this team that will effectively analyze, design, scope, plan, and oversee (or join) the execution of large-scale manufacturing efforts.

• This role will oversee drawing reviews, capex planning, and automation feedback for 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing as part of the Factories as a Service team.
• The Hadrian Factories as a Service team works across all manufacturing methods, and this role is expected to serve as the Lead Engineer for scoping, designing, planning, and providing automation feedback for 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing across all material types and configurations.
• You'll be able to review drawings for manufacturability rapidly, select the right CapEx for part numbers and assemblies, advise our automation team on 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing best practices, and have a deep working knowledge of production and inspection methods for 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing.
• This role will both assist in building new factories for existing production scope, as well as contribute to the manufacturing processes of new products where 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing is a designed-in function.
• We're seeking generalists who have experience with and operate additive fleets across various additive methods and material types, as well as specialized subject matter experts mainly focused on aluminum, hard metals applications for naval content, aerospace engineers, and munitions.
• You'll recruit and lead 1-2, 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing MEs to assist, and work with Hadrian's Automation and Factories Leadership teams to design and ship comprehensive 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing production and inspection lines.
• We are looking for individuals who can analyze drawings at a technical level, but are also capable of planning 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing lines or factories from scratch. We are interviewing at all levels.
