Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW :

  • Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient
  • Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs : 8am-5pm / Fri : 8am-12pm)

36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours each week

  • Call Schedule : Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1 : 7 to 1 : 8 rotation (answering service triages after hour calls)
  • Cerner EMR with Dragon dictation
  • Dedicated nurse

    • PATIENT VOLUME & CENSUS :

  • Average Patient Volume : 20-25 patients per day
  • Patient Census : Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases
  • Demographics : A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.

    • VISIT TYPES :

  • Visit Types : Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.
  • Typical Procedures : In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and womens health screenings.

    • BENEFITS :
