Contract Duration : Through June 16, 2026 (Summer work available)
Work Hours : 37.5 hours / week (Full-Time)
Modality : In-Person
Position Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for conducting student evaluations, delivering therapy services, and documenting progress in alignment with individualized plans of care and physician orders. This role supports middle school students and requires flexibility, collaboration, and a commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities
Perform speech and language evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct therapy services to students
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Minimum Requirements
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in North Carolina
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by contract / state)
