About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS

Must-Have :

2 additional shifts or 2 on-call shifts required per 6 weeks.

Weekend requirement : Every other weekend.

First-timers are not accepted.

On-call requirement : Yes.

Must float within scope to meet facility needs.

No block schedule accommodations.

Pending license accepted, must obtain prior to starting.

All requested time off must be included in the initial submission.

Description :

The ICU position involves providing critical care nursing for adult patients 18 years or older.

Patients will require a variety of medical and surgical interventions in an acute care setting.

Post-operative patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring will also be served.

The unit focuses on patients needing ventilator support and those recovering from cardiac or respiratory arrests.

Staffing ratios are 1 nurse for every 2 patients during shifts.

Skills needed include managing various medical procedures and monitoring critical patient conditions.

Experience with charting systems is preferred.

Strong clinical skills are required for handling cardiac patients, sedation, and intensive therapies.

Additional duties may include managing complex patient care situations, including infection prevention and medication administration.

Team collaboration with interdisciplinary services is essential for optimizing patient outcomes.

Assessment and interpretation of vital signs and lab results is a critical part of the role.

Compliance with established policies and procedures is mandatory.
