Job Summary :
Provide direct patient care within a busy Emergency Department setting during night shifts on a part-time basis. Serve as a vital communication link between patients, families, nursing staff, and physicians, ensuring smooth coordination and support. Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, relaying messages, maintaining records, and directing visitors. Assist with patient care tasks and manage supply orders efficiently.
Essential Functions :
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must hold Nursing Assistant Certification or EMT Certification.
Experience :
Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or EMT is required. Preference given to candidates with at least one year of experience in an Emergency Department hospital setting.
Licensure / Certifications :
Active Nursing Assistant license or EMT Certification valid in the Pacific Northwest region.
Professional Requirements :
Adhere to all regulatory standards and organizational policies. Demonstrate punctuality and reliability by reporting to work as scheduled and completing tasks within designated timelines. Exhibit courteous, respectful, and helpful communication with patients, guests, and staff. Uphold ethical standards and organizational mission.
