Job Title : Physical Therapist

Description :

This is an inpatient physical therapy position in a short-term acute care setting.

Candidates with at least one year of experience are preferred; first-timers are acceptable if licensed.

The role requires the therapist to float between various units.

One weekend shift per week is necessary.

No on-call duties are required.

The expected patient ratio is 6 patients during an 8-hour day.

Experience in inpatient rehabilitation facilities is a plus.

The facility supports a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics.

Therapists will be responsible for developing and implementing rehabilitation plans for patients with various diagnoses.

Essential skills include the use of adaptive devices, gait training, patient assessments, and safety measures.

The candidate must also be familiar with the electronic medical record system.

A commitment to working three of the five major holidays is required.

Travelers may be expected to float between facilities as needed.

A valid driver's license is necessary for this assignment.

Candidates are expected to adhere to strict compliance and scheduling requirements.

The role does not include reimbursement for travel-related expenses.

All required certifications and references must be submitted prior to start.
