General Purpose
Assist with curatorial and administrative tasks including research administrative assistance artist correspondence exhibit project assistance visitor services and exhibit installation. Learning outcomes for the intern include : an introduction to a professional museum environment and career path; expose the intern to day-to-day art center operations working with a curatorial team; train the intern in basic curatorial support tasks; and serve as an educational and mentoring experience for the intern.
Specific Projects : January April
- De-installation and exhibit support of Human Impact exhibition.
- Exhibition research and writing bios timelines and other materials to support Summer & Fall 2026
- Administrative duties as needed : filing mailings checklists draft correspondence

Remote Tier 2 : Up to one (1) day remote / week
Essential Job Functions
Support general curatorial department tasks including : de-installation and exhibit support of fall exhibitions; support with exhibition-based public programs including artists talks and eventsAssistance with coordinating checklists artist correspondence and general research as part of best practices in a professional museum / non-profit environmentsCreate and organize exhibition folders artist packets general informationAssist with packing and deinstallation of exhibitions; Participate in artist outreach programsAssist with correspondence and research as it relates to artists upcoming exhibitionsAssist with special exhibit or artist projects : brochures artist development workshops etc.Serve 1-2 gallery shifts per month in visitor services role engaging with community and school groups.Assist in filing copying and compiling information on regional / national artistsCompletion of a daily intern log personal bio and description of internship to add to resume.Readings and other duties and projects as assigned.Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements
