Schedule Details :
Nights with 8 and 12-hour shifts. Every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation applies.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview : Join our dedicated 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, providing care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients with hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, alongside medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), our unit provides exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and advanced care.

Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and involve patients and families in their care.Recognize and respond to significant changes in patients' conditions and needs for care.Implement patient safety strategies.Coordinate discharge plans utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take action as needed.Demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills.Promote a culture of safety and report any patient safety events.Participate in quality improvement initiatives.Engage in professional development activities and meet annual competencies.Deliver age-appropriate care based on principles of growth and development.Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited or approved Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
