Location : Muscatine, Iowa (52761) – Eastern Iowa nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Unit – Med / Surg Telemetry / Stepdown

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Start Date : December 29, 2025

End Date : March 30, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880 - $2,020

RN Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg or Stepdown nursing experience

First-time travel nurses welcome

Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license

Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Ability to float to ER and care for acute patient populations (critical gtts, drips)

Must reside at least 50 miles from hospital (local candidates not accepted)

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the Med / Surg Telemetry / Stepdown unit

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Deliver care for acute patient populations, including management of critical medications and drips

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR

Participate in required holiday coverage (work 2 of 3 winter holidays)
