Roofing Superintendent - Distribution Center / Cold Storage (Decatur)

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to support our project management team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in construction management within the commercial roofing industry. You will coordinate and oversee various roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regular detail in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, superintendents and other stakeholders to ensure project efficiency.
• Monitor project progress and report on status, identifying any potential issues early and potential improvements.
• Support site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
• Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts.
• Occasionally conduct on-site inspection, climb ladders and walk on roofs
• Assist Superintendents with problem-solving, scheduling, customer service, and procedures.
• Monitors daily productivity and ensures project adherence to contractual scope of work, approved submittals, and company standards.
• Resolves conflicts and assumes a lead role in any dispute resolution activities occurring on projects .
• Complies with and enforces all personnel and safety policies.
• Recommend improvements, changes, or new techniques and procedures.
• Carry out specific work plans as assigned by management.
• Must be able to report to Clute office as needed.
