Drywall Estimator (Naples)

My client is a well-established Commercial Drywall, Metal Framing, and Fire-Stop Contractor based in Southwest Florida. They are seeking a Drywall Estimator to join their growing team and take a lead role in developing accurate, competitive bids across a variety of commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review drawings and specifications to determine scope for drywall, metal framing, and fire-stop systems.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for materials and labor using OST or similar digital take-off software.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, overhead, and mark-ups.
• Prepare and present bid proposals with scope definitions, assumptions, exclusions, and contingencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, field leaders, and procurement teams to align estimates with real-world conditions.
• Identify value-engineering options that reduce cost while maintaining quality and performance.
• Track and update productivity rates, material pricing, and subcontractor quotations.
• Contribute to bid / no-bid decisions by evaluating risk, scope complexity, and profitability potential.
• Maintain accurate records of all bid documents, quotes, and post-bid analysis for ongoing improvement.
