LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

With a patient-centered culture, the Licensed Practical Nurse will -as directed by the RN and defined in the state's Scope of Practice- provide direct patient care, meeting the physical, age-specific, social, mental status, cultural and spiritual needs of the patients in accordance department guidelines.

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Education

Incumbent must be a graduate from a school of nursing.

• Licensure and Certifications

Current West Virginia license, which is renewed on a yearly basis.

• Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.
• Experience

Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and instruct patients and their families
