Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Job Description & Requirements

Days : 4-7 shifts consecutively M-F 7am-8pm, weekends 7am-8pm

Nights : max 4 shifts consecutively M-F 5pm-8am, weekends 7pm-8am

12-14 patients per shift typical

Pediatric cardiovascular ICU setting

Advanced procedures : vent management, chest tubes, central lines

Rounding, admissions 2-3 per shift, in-house call coverage

May cover cardiology patients on pediatric acute floor

PALS and BLS certification required
