Electrical Project Manager - Industrial Construction
Location : Martinsburg, WV (onsite, 12-month assignment with potential for long-term projects)
Overview :
A leading company in the heavy manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead capital electrical projects at its new start-up facility in Martinsburg, WV. This onsite role will focus on the successful execution of industrial electrical projects, including power distribution systems, automation controls, and system integration aligned with facility operations. This is a hands-on leadership position offering direct impact on the commissioning and ramp-up of a major industrial plant.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all phases of electrical project delivery-from planning and design through installation and commissioning
- Coordinate closely with subcontractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress
- Manage design changes, schedules, procurement timelines, and installation oversight
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA, environmental, and site-specific safety protocols
- Maintain an active presence on the jobsite to drive project progress and enforce accountability
- Lead issue resolution and coordination across disciplines to maintain timeline and budget
- Support turnover to operations, including system testing, documentation, and operator training
