Business Intelligence (BI) Data Estate Developer

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) fintech transformation through Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT). Supporting design and development of enterprise data solutions enabling advanced analytics, reporting, and decision?making across VA financial and operational landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data models, and BI solutions within the VA Data Estate environment using Microsoft Power BI.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to support reporting, analytics, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Implement data quality checks, error handling, and performance tuning to ensure system efficiency and data integrity.
• Support migration and transformation of legacy datasets into modern VA Data Estate environment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and solution design documents.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for data?related issues and user queries.

Pay Range

$75,200 $158,100
