An Outpatient Mental Health Practice is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

About the Facility Location

The facility is located ~35-40 miles SW of Atlanta, Georgia.

About the Clinician's Workday

A psychiatrist is needed on-site for 10 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on patient needs and provider availability. The role includes initial and follow-up visits, medication management, and treating patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and behavioral issues. Scheduling can be one 10-hour day or two 5-hour days.

Case Load / PPD : 5-8 PPD

Support Staff : office support staff, scheduling, therapists, clinical director

Patient Population : All Ages

Location Type : On-Site

Prescriptive Authority Required : Yes

Shift Hours : Part time (10 hours)

Cases Treated : Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Behavioral Issues, Anger Management

Med Checks / Follow-up per day : 30 min
