Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team in East Point, Georgia. The NP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care across the lifespan, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in accordance with Georgia state regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and obtain detailed patient histories.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Georgia Board of Nursing and supervising physician protocols.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, preventive care, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
- Comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
Qualifications :
Education : Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program.Licensure :Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Georgia.
Experience : 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads may be considered depending on setting).Preferred Skills :
