Social Media Manager
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years (ideal is 7+) experience as social media manager for recognizable national or global brand
- Knowledge of Wawa brand is a must
- Experience designing social monitoring strategies
- Experience with social media crisis management
- Paid and organic experience
- Agency experience is highly preferred
Role and Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert account lead; which may include managing a small teamComfortable building and maintaining productive internal and external client relationships through effective communication, reports, and presentationsAble to maintain a clear brand vision, designing, executing, and approving social media campaigns and strategiesIdentify and / or lead prioritization of initiatives and campaignsActive contributor to all levels of social media reporting for clients, including but not limited to monthly reports, quarterly business reviews, and campaign reportingEducate client and internal teams on social media marketing best practiceConceptualize, build, and maintain a social media editorial calendar, which may include copywriting and light content creationPartner with designers, creative directors, and content strategists to create concepts for engaging postsDevelop, implement, and track KPIs to measure performance against strategic goals, identify emerging trends, and provide insights about the drivers of performanceComfortable building and maintaining direct client relationships through status calls, advisory meetings, and any day-to-day contactAdvanced understanding of key social media tools and best practicesIdentify emerging trends, tactics, and platforms; develop and circulate a perspective on how they can be leveraged to contribute to the achievement of our client's social goalsHorizontal facilitates valuable and productive conversations between you and potential employers.
