Job Summary : Daily management of sales related activities for new and existing projects. Leads and / or support the value proposition, when dealing with the customer by matching the technical solution to sales. Building and maintaining positive customer and business relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Generate sales with growth targets on a consistent basis with new customers and markets. Generate new project leads, prepare quotations for proposed technical solutions and negotiate prices with customers.
- Initiation, development and review of technical data for all sales projects.
- Meet sales target KPI' s on quarterly and annual basis.
Organize and lead technical review meetings to ensure the customer requirements, specifications and expectations are met.
Prepare timelines in accordance with customer needs, coordinate with suppliers, when required, to meet deadlines.Provide project updates to customers in a timely mannerParticipating regularly in technical group meetings as required, Coordination of technical requirement transmittals with manufacturing.Endorse and promote the company's vision and missionContact customers, deal with related issues with ongoing ProjectsProcessing orders for new productsStrict compliance with safety rules and procedures while on premisesThis is a brief summary of the daily duties and responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, design and related processes.
Knowledge of injection molding associated processes, robotic systems, and automation.Knowledge of tooling concepts, and tool component manufacturing techniques. Good contacts in the medical device industry, especially in injection molding. Good understanding of plant infrastructureAdept with machine shop related equipment
Strong command and ability to communicate in technical industry terms Good leadership skills
Excellent Language skillsExtensive knowledge of MS-OfficeWorking knowledge of customer provided part designs in 2D / 3D (solid works and dmer software).Credentials and Experience :
College or University level education for engineering or plastics processing or silicone molding.
Minimum 10 years of Technical Sales experience in injection molding industry preferably silicone or plastic. Previous experience as process / industrial engineer is an asset.Knowledge of GMP, Clean room, and ISO procedures Task motivated work ethicKnowledge of health and safety protocols
