  • Job Summary :

    The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients visiting for laboratory services - whether for routine health testing or critical diagnostic needs. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples , ensuring proper labeling, and maintaining strict compliance with safety and quality protocols. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and a patient-centered approach to deliver excellent service and ensure a positive experience.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen collection duties accurately and efficiently under supervision.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Execute forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing procedures.
  • Accurately label and verify patient samples following company procedures.
  • Adhere to corporate safety, quality control, and quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain all required records, documentation, and compliance logs.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and colleagues.
  • Provide flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
  • Required Experience :

  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required ; 1+ year preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or healthcare preferred.
  • Proficiency with data entry and electronic record systems.
  • Required Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
  • Required Skills :

  • Excellent phlebotomy skills , including pediatric and geriatric draws.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Familiarity with specimen processing and lab safety procedures.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills .
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing priorities.
  • Additional Skills :

  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors and adherence to confidentiality protocols.
  • Flexible availability and willingness to assist across multiple locations when needed.
  • Shift / Hours :

    Monday - Friday : 7 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM

    Rotational Saturday : 7 : 00 AM - 11 : 00 AM
