Required qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. 10+ years of successful communications experience in healthcare, including leadership at the executive level. Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives, board members, physicians, officials, and community stakeholders. Excellent writing skills for diverse audiences. Relationship-building skills and experience with local and national media, including Becker’s Healthcare, Modern Healthcare. Track record of leading corporate and regional communications, crisis management, media relations, and labor communications. A hands-on leader who can develop materials under tight deadlines. Strong organizational, communication, planning, and leadership skills; diplomatic and relationship-oriented. Effective coaching and mentoring abilities. Preferred qualifications : Experience in a large, complex, national health system. Experience with investor relations. Knowledge of government relations and working with officials and stakeholders. Connections or experience with national news media in major markets (LA, NYC, Midwest). Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or Journalism. Prime Healthcare offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid time off, 401K, health coverage, tuition reimbursement, and more. The estimated total compensation ranges from $214,240 to $300,000 annually, depending on various factors. The exact offer will be determined at hire, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses based on performance and other factors.
