The Navajo Area Indian Health Service is looking for a dedicated professional to deliver essential behavioral healthcare, including therapy, psychological evaluations, and crisis care, to the Navajo Nation and surrounding communities. This Full-Time 1099 Contract / Locum Tenens opportunity offers stability, cultural connection, and professional fulfillment in an outpatient behavioral health setting.

Schedule & Details :

• 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• No weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call
• Full-time hours
• Can work off any US license
• Up to 1 year initial contract with optional extensions
• Outpatient psychiatry with possible telepsychiatry opportunities
• Multiple openings in the Navajo Area

Additional responsibilities may be added as needed to support clinic operations and community programs. This job description does not imply that these are the only duties to be performed. Contractors must follow all other job-related instructions as assigned by the Behavioral Health Director or designated supervisor.
