Mainframe IMS and CICS

Job Summary (List Format) : - Serve as a Mainframe IMS and CICS specialist, providing technical support and solutions. - Utilize strong COBOL programming skills to develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications. - Apply in-depth knowledge of z / OS operating systems in day-to-day operations and troubleshooting. - Manage and optimize IMS / DB and IMS / DC database systems, ensuring efficient data processing and integrity. - Implement and support CICS transaction processing systems, including programming and interface management. - Write, modify, and maintain JCL scripts for effective batch processing and job scheduling. - Perform basic mainframe system administration tasks such as data set management and ensuring security compliance. - Provide on-call support as needed, demonstrating flexibility to handle production issues and emergencies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless mainframe operations and delivery. - Maintain documentation and adhere to best practices for mainframe development and support. Must Have Skills : IMS / DB, CICS, COBOL, and JCL
