The BCP Sanford facility currently has an opening for a 1st Shift Logistics Production Manager. Caterpillars Logistics Production Managers lead teams and supervise people to maximize efficiency in quality velocity and cost from receipt to point of use.

What you can look forward to in this role :

• Monitor and improve shop floor safety aggressively eliminating unsafe processes
• Assures fixtures tooling and processes are followed to meet production schedules
• Determines priorities and sequences of jobs
• Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources and adjusts staff to meet flow and customer requirements
• Determine and execute disciplinary action when appropriate
• Ensure production material is procured and distributed to meet production schedules
• Increases production efficiency through continuous improvement and waste elimination
• Determine overtime needs and priorities when resources are insufficient.
• Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule
• Identifies and leads the deployment of workforce training
• Actively deploys section value stream improvements using Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma
• Develop and deploy standard work for each work area
• Practices and coaches Caterpillar Production System (CPS) guiding principles

Summary Pay Range :

$87480.00 - $131280.00
