About the Role :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lease Administrator to support our Real Estate and Operations teams. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of new and existing leases, ensuring compliance with lease terms, maintaining accurate records, and partnering cross-functionally to support real estate transactions and ongoing lease obligations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all new and existing lease data within the company's lease database, including entries, updates, and maintenance of key data points.
- Abstract and interpret lease documents to ensure timely and accurate compliance with tenant and landlord obligations.
- Assist the Accounting team with variance reports, rent escalations, and auditing of operating expenses, property tax statements, and tax disputes.
- Monitor all lease deliverables to maintain up-to-date, compliant records.
- Track critical dates and coordinate with internal departments to ensure performance obligations are met.
- Manage all documentation and requirements for collecting Tenant Improvement Allowances from landlords, including tracking deadlines and submission requirements.
- Work with the company's insurance agent to procure, track, and manage all insurance requirements-maintaining current certificates for all restaurants as required by leases.
- Complete estoppels, SNDAs, and other landlord-required documents in a timely manner.
- Support the Director on letters of intent, real estate packages, new leases / purchases, renewals, and relocations.
- Coordinate with internal construction teams and landlords to facilitate access to prospective sites for due diligence.
- Assist with documentation and coordination for internal and external site tours.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications :
5-7 years of experience, preferably in commercial retail real estate.Solid understanding of commercial real estate terminology, processes, laws, and transactions.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general computer applications.Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems.Experience with Sitefolio preferred (training available).
