Advanced Test Engineer

Description

As an Advanced Test Engineer here at Honeywell you will be responsible for developing and executing advanced testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our aerospace products. You will leverage your technical expertise to drive innovation and enhance testing methodologies contributing to the success of our cutting-edge technologies.

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Program Manager and youll work out of our Urbana OH location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and performance of our aircraft lighting products through rigorous testing methodologies. You will lead and contribute to all aspects of product testing from initial design verification to ongoing production monitoring including product qualification testing production testing HALT / HASS test equipment design and build project management design for test guidance and test coverage analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality aircraft lighting products.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Qualification Testing :

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for product qualification ensuring compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and internal specifications.
• Analyze test results identify root causes of failures and work with design and development teams to implement corrective actions.
• Generate detailed test reports documenting test setups procedures results and conclusions.

Production Testing :

HALT / HASS (Highly Accelerated Life Testing / Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) :

Test Equipment Design and Build :

Project Management :

Design for Test (DFT Guidance)
