Unit Overview :

Number of scanners : 2 CT scanners with a shared workroom

Staffing : 7 full-time CT Techs

3 PRN CT Techs

Traveler Shift : Wednesday–Friday, 11 : 00–23 : 30

Staffing Breakdown :

23 : 30–09 : 00 : 1 CT Tech

09 : 00–11 : 00 & 18 : 00–23 : 30 : 2 CT Techs

11 : 00–18 : 00 : 3 CT Techs

Monthly Scan Volume :

July : 1,162

August : 1,283

September : 1,115

Equipment : GE Optima, GE Revolution EVO

EMR : Meditech

PACS : DR PACS (Merge)

On-Call Requirements : 1–2 weekend days per month

Weekend Requirements : As needed

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills (must-have) :

ARRT CT Registry

Experience with GE scanning platform

Preferred Skills (nice-to-have) :

Venipuncture certification

Experience with ER, inpatient, and outpatient exams

Common Procedures on the Unit

Routine & angiography CT : head, neck, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities

CCTA and pulmonary veins

Biopsies, drainages, chest tube placement, SI joint injections, etc.
