CPA Lead Accountant

A company is looking for an Accountant Lead.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee full cycle of accounting and reporting activities, including month-end close processes

Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations, specifically for the Payroll accounting group

Lead and train the Payroll accounting team while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience, including financial operations and general ledger month-end close

United States citizenship required

CPA certification preferred or in progress

Experience in federal government contracting environments is a plus
