Position Overview : MP Materials is seeking an Executive Assistant to support our growing team. Successful candidates will be highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to proactively support the requirements of the executive team and business. The ideal Executive Assistant will be adaptable and efficient when owning initiatives requiring a level of autonomy and decision making based on guidance provided by the executive, such as managing various projects, outlining meeting structures and creating agendas for events, owning calendar and travel arrangements, and partnering with other leaders of the organization with a high level of professionalism and integrity. A successful Executive Assistant will gain a deep understanding of the business to help partner with the executive on determining the best use of time and prioritization in alignment with the company's owner-operator culture. Position Responsibilities :

  • Operate as the primary support person for an executive leader.
  • Collaborate with the executive to ensure the person is well-informed and prepared accordingly for upcoming responsibilities and commitments.
  • Lead various projects from start to finish with guidance from the executive.
  • Manage the executive's calendar and be a primary screener and partner to determine which activities are of the highest priority.
  • Partner with other executive leaders, assistants, and service organizations such as HR, IT, and Procurement, to ensure the applicable operational needs of the executives are met.
  • Prepares meetings and events for the executive including both internal and external stakeholders, such as staff meetings, external visits, teleconferences, offsites, and other gatherings.
  • Assists the executive with internal and external communications across multiple platforms, interfaces, and programs.
  • Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications :
  • At least 5 years of experience in an administration or project management role with direct support to executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability of multitasking and balancing competing priorities.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products, especially the use of Outlook and Teams to coordinate the schedules of multiple individuals, sites, and resources.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with applicable systems related to scheduling, traveling, and procurement.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple concurrent projects. Desired Qualities :
  • Experience of working with a distributed team (locate and remote).
  • Experience working in a quickly growing and developing organization.
  • Skilled in recommending or making administrative processes clearer and more efficient.
