Casual Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Job Overview

We are seeking a casual occupational therapist to support acute care needs at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota West Bank in Minneapolis!

In collaboration with patients and families, the OT is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes. We are an outstanding multi-disciplinary team of therapists, nurses, physicians, care coordinators working together for patient outcomes!

• FTE : .01, casual position; up to 80 hours per pay period, pending availability.
• Schedule : Two Saturdays per month.
• Opportunities to pick up additional weekday and weekend shifts as interested and available!

Fairview Rehabilitation offers a range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. Consisting of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Audiology and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs.

Rehab's continuing education program offers 40+ continuing education courses per year at no cost to employees and further supports numerous external CE courses each year.
