Phynix Physical Therapy was founded to provide high-quality skilled physical therapy to the community. Our aim is to improve the lives of those we interact with through our knowledge, skill and compassion.

At the moment, we are looking for a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, on a per diem basis, who has developed personally and professionally. Manual therapy skills are desired and will be concentrated on through mentorship and continuing education. Spanish speaking is a must at an intermediate level.

Our client base is largely geriatrics though we do see younger orthopedic cases as well. You can expect a schedule that is 2 people an hour with the hours of the office being 9-5 Monday through Friday.

Initially, the prospective hire will directly assist the physical therapist, despite not having a schedule, just to make sure they are comfortable and confident in the setting. They will initially take the clients through their exercise plans concluding with modalities if necessary. They will shadow for approximately one week before populating their schedule unless they are ready sooner. Again It is important that the new hire is comfortable and confident.

The plan is for the per diem to grow to a more part-time position, but this will be discussed more upon interviewing.

Pay : $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours : No less than 20 per week
