What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Research Assistant in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. The research assistant will work in Dr. Lees Micro / Nano Devices and Systems Laboratory.

A Bachelors degree and less than a year of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelors degree and less than a year of relevant work experience are preferred.

All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

• Support PhD students on active research projects involving implantable micro devices for bone growth applications liquid metal artificial muscles and electrochemical sensors for greenhouse gas detection
• Design fabricate and test device performance
• Procure and install laboratory equipment
• Maintain the lab with attention to chemical safety
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of research
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
• Ability to comply with university policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
