Shift : 12-hour Nights

Schedule : Every other weekend required

Job Description

UHS Wilson Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills and the ability to manage complex and fast-paced patient situations in a Level II trauma setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Department.
  • Respond to trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and pediatric emergencies according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

    • Requirements

  • License : Active RN license (New York or compact).
  • Certifications : BLS and ACLS (required).
  • Experience : Minimum 3 years of current ED experience and prior travel experience .
  • Skills : Proficient in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care.

    • Schedule

  • 12-hour night shifts
  • 48 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
