Special Process Engineer - PPAP

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description : Special Process Engineer – PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) is responsible for determining methodology and designs for EDM and welding processes.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
• Analyze production and NPI processes to ensure ISO & AS9100 compliance.
• Provide support during NADCAP and internal quality audits.
• Interpret customer blueprints and specifications to design conforming processes.
• Oversee new part weld and EDM qualifications including micro exams and opsheet creation.
• Ability to serve as the Aerospace PPAP Site lead and provide all related departments with technical guidance, training and assistance
• Must be able to multi task and arrange work priorities to meet production schedules.

Qualifications :

Knowledge of welding and EDM processes

Microsoft Office products – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
