Schedule : Monday – Friday, Day Shift (24 / 7 Department Responsibility)

Compensation : $103,000 – $145,000 per year + up to 10% Annual Incentive Bonus

Sign-On Bonus : $20,000 (paid out over a designated time period)

Relocation : Open to relocation candidates, dependent on distance

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Nursing Director – Cardiac / Telemetry for a full-time, onsite leadership opportunity in San Antonio, TX . The Nursing Director will provide oversight for one or more clinical departments, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes, staff engagement, and continuous performance improvement. This position is responsible for strategic leadership, daily operations, and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership for cardiac and telemetry nursing services.
• Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Develop, mentor, and retain nursing talent through effective coaching and professional development.
• Oversee departmental budgets, staffing levels, and resource utilization.
• Lead performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and executive teams to optimize service delivery and patient outcomes.
• Maintain a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within assigned departments.
