Job description

We're representing a fast-growing pharmaceutical company based in Houston that is seeking a Director of Warehousing and Logistics to lead and scale global supply chain operations. This critical role will oversee warehousing, distribution, and transportation strategies to support just-in-time production and global medication delivery—leveraging ERP systems and AI-powered tools for precision, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and optimize end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations, including ERP-based inventory control, carrier management, and logistics strategy.
  • Establish global import / export compliance processes and oversee partnerships with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Develop KPIs and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and overall logistics performance.

Qualifications :

  • 15+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and transportation within highly regulated industries, preferably pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong background in ERP systems, inventory control, and contract negotiations across multiple transportation modes.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into daily operations to enhance decision-making, risk mitigation, and supply chain agility.
