The Supervisor Multimodality is accountable for supervising, planning, organizing and improving work processes in the various sections of Radiology Services. This position performs department orientation, teaches, coaches, supervises staff and performs imaging exams in various disciplines such as CT, MR or Rad. The Supervisor also acts as a department liaison in the absence of a manager.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and maintaining patient safety
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Provide exceptional patient care, including addressing patient concerns and providing emotional support
Requirements
Education
Associate's degree in RadiologyTechnology or related fieldCompletion of a radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)Experience :
1-2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech in a hospital or imaging center settingExperience with various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasoundSkills :
Strong understanding of radiology technology and imaging principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsCommitment to delivering exceptional patient care and safetyCertifications / Licenses :
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R)Current state license as a Radiology Tech (if required)Benefits
