Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,182 per week in Farmington, NM

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Nephrology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 2 years preferred License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : BLS (must be AHA) Must-Have Skills / Experience : Med / Surg experience is required. Preferred skillset includes charge nurse experience. Nephrology experience is preferred but not required. Description : This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Nephrology unit. The unit is an extension of the Medical-Surgical units. The facility has a total of 24 beds available. Patient ratios are 1 : 4 to 1 : 6. Common diagnoses include End Stage Renal Disease, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Hemodialysis. The equipment utilized includes vital sign machines, bladder scanners, lifts, thermal imaging, and IV pumps / tubes. The electronic health record system in use is Cerner. The supervisor for this position is an RN. The patient population consists of adults and geriatric patients. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred. Experience in an observation unit is also a plus. Candidates must achieve a minimum overall rating of 3.2 on the skills checklist.
