Join Cisco as the Director, Product Market Success for the Americas (AMER). In this strategic leadership role you will drive the growth of Cisco's security product portfolio across North and South America, Canada, the U.S. and Public Sector. You will develop and execute region-specific growth strategies, work closely with sales teams to achieve pipeline and bookings goals, and lead a globally distributed team of six direct reports. Key responsibilities include launching Account-Based Marketing initiatives, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and representing Cisco at industry events.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute market-growth strategies for Cisco's security products across the AMER region.
Collaborate with sales teams to set and achieve pipeline and bookings goals.
Lead, mentor and manage a globally distributed team of six direct reports.
Design and deploy Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns (Enterprise, 1-to-Few, 1-to-1) to accelerate impact.
Customize and execute regional marketing initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
Provide market insights, performance updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
Represent Cisco at major events and industry conferences.
Ensure alignment between product messaging and sales targets across the region.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
15+ years of experience in product, regional, or partner marketing, including ABM experience.
3+ years in a regional leadership role with sales interface responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cybersecurity and familiarity with regional market dynamics.
Strong skills in analytics, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
Proven success driving product growth, pipeline generation and bookings in sophisticated markets.
Outstanding teamwork and communication skills to effectively interface with sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting market conditions.
Willingness to travel to major events, conferences and internal meetings as required.
Salary
Starting salary range : $230,100.00 – $325,300.00 (reflects projected range for new hires in U.S. and / or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity or benefits).
Benefits
10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees.
Paid day off for employee's birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown and up to 4 paid days off for personal wellness.
Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation per full calendar year, accrued at 4.92 hours per pay period.
Exempt employees have flexible vacation time with no defined limit (subject to availability and business limitations).
80 hours of sick time on hire date and each January 1 afterward, with up to 80 hours unused carried forward.
Optional 10 paid days per year to volunteer.
