Job descriptionEDR, MDR, or SIEM tools (highly desirable). Load balancer configuration and management. Experience with proxy server infrastructure. Working knowledge of Cisco wireless environments. Experience providing basic telephony support (major plus). Hands-on experience with cloud networking—Azure preferred. Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and remediation processes. Proficiency in packet capture and traffic analysis. Relevant certifications such as CCNA or security credentials (e.g., Security+, CySA+).

Duration : 12+ months contract
Location : Hybrid 2 days / week in NYC (10019)

Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network or security infrastructure.
- Strong foundation in either routing and switching technologies or enterprise-grade security platforms.
- Experience configuring and managing firewalls—Palo Alto experience is a strong plus.
- Proficient in MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes) tasks, including switch port patching and configuration.
- Skilled in maintaining and tracking inventory for network and telecom hardware.
- Capable of monitoring network and telecom systems and coordinating with vendors to resolve service issues.
- Familiar with implementing best practices and applying necessary firmware or software upgrades.
- Able to respond to and investigate security alerts, implementing remediation as needed.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned systems.
Preferred Experience :
At least two years of experience configuring and managing enterprise networks and / or security infrastructure.
