CAT Scan Technologist

Job Responsibilities :

• Perform CT scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Prepare medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterility of instruments and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions, especially before and after contrast injections.
• Maintain medical records, reports, and supplies inventory.
• Assist with emergency response procedures when necessary.
• Clean and maintain CT equipment, work areas, and supply rooms.
• Follow venipuncture and power injector protocols.
• Ensure timely imaging processing and communication with radiologists.

Location : Chilton Medical Center, 97 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 11 AM – 7 PM (No weekends, No on-call)

Requirements :

Education : High School Diploma / GED + Radiographer Technical Training Program

Certifications & Licensure :

$80 / Hour, $120 / Hour (Overtime)
