Pay Range : $23 per hour - $25 per hour

What You’ll Do :   As a Supervisor - Security at Sodexo, you will work with management on site to coordinate activities of security officers engaged in safety of occupants, detecting suspicious activity, patrol functions, and general physical security / protection of people, operations and assets. You will have the opportunity to grow your leadership and training skills by providing guidance to a team of security professionals, while maintaining adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational service standards.

Responsibilities include :

• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day operations of the security team and serve as a working lead, assists officers on post, and may be required to conduct officer functions, as needed.
• Support in orienting, mentoring and training security officers at site with a servant leadership approach.
• Interviews guests and employees to detect infringements and to investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism and accidents or incidents.
• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
• May assist management and law enforcement officials in emergency situations, apprehending unauthorized persons found on the property, searching and seizing items and investigating suspected thefts.
• May inspect inbound / outbound trucks, interacting with drivers, ensuring they have appropriate documentation and entering information into system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
