Job Title : Staff Accountant

Location : Sunrise, FL

Employment Type : Contract to Hire

Work Schedule : On-site, Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Client : Established Distributor with 50+ Years in Business

Key Responsibilities :

Apply customer payments and manage accounts receivable in NetSuite

Enter and match vendor bills; process A / P payments and customer refunds

Reconcile daily store cash drawers with NetSuite inflows

Perform weekly bank and credit card reconciliations

Assist with journal entries, accruals, and month-end close activities

Maintain vendor and customer records, including ACH details, W-9s, and certificates

Support the CEO, COO, and external Controller with financial reporting and ad hoc tasks

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience

Solid understanding of GAAP

Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred

Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and formula creation

High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a routine-driven environment

Pay Details : $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
