Job descriptionPractice call split evenly among physician group. Minority or equally shared hand call at the hospital’s level II Trauma ER. Call is compensated separately Base salary guarantee, benefits package and moving allowance. After guarantee period, production model with bonus capability. Possible fellowship stipend available. Track to partnership, real estate and Ambulatory Surgery Center buy-in. Access to 5 hospitals and 2 ambulatory surgery centers. No state income tax. About Orthopaedic Associates : Full spectrum orthopaedic group providing 8 different orthopaedic specialties. Well established and respected group in practice locally for over 25 years, boasting five local state-of-the-art clinics. Offers patients access to a comprehensive continuum of care with on-site services, such as durable medical equipment, MRI, physical therapy, regenerative medicine, surgery centers, and X-rays. Strong community involvement by providing sports medicine care for local High Schools. 17 Physician group with 8 mid-midlevel providers. Main office conveniently located within walking distance of the hospital. Collegial environment. 300 Bed, HCA Hospital and Level II Trauma Center. Expansion underway adding an additional 27 beds. Hospital’s newly renovated, CARF Accredited inpatient rehabilitation facility offers a full continuum of orthopedic care and rehabilitation. Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students from Auburn’s VCOM School. On track to offer IM and FM Residency programs in 2024. Named among the top 10% in the Nation by Health grades for Cardiac Surgery, Joint Replacement, and Patient Safety. Listed as 4th highest in the Nation for Infection Prevention by Consumer Reports. Area’s only accredited Chest Pain Center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Cardiac Program offering Open Heart Surgery, Watchman, and TAVR Pursuing certification as the area’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center. Group is seeking an orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join their practice in the Florida Panhandle area.
Qualified Candidates :
- Must be board certified or board eligible in orthopaedics.
- Must be fellowship-trained in Foot and Ankle Surgery
- Must be willing to perform hand and general orthopaedic surgery.
- The practice is willing to consider an exceptional Fellow coming out of training.
