Vehicle Access Performance Engineer (Auburn Hills)

OpTech is seeking for strong OBD PVE Test Engineer for their Direct Client.

Location - Auburn Hills, MI (Onsite)

Rate - $40 / hour on W2.

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in engineering required
• Minimum 2 years experience in OBD testing, certification, compliance, emissions testing, or similar
• Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Excel) and willing behavior of adherence to processes
• Must be detail oriented, have good people skills, and be a self-starter
• Ability to independently manage project objectives and activities
• Must have good communication and coordinating skills to manage multiple vehicle programs
• Exposure in :
• Understand regulatory certification related to OBD PVE testing or vehicle emissions testing
• Compile / review data and prepare necessary documentation in a timely manner.
• Experience with working in an automotive lab environment. Comfortable working with government employees
• Experience setting OBD faults
• Hybrid and / or Electric vehicle testing experience is a plus
