Job Title : Physical Therapist

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent PT hospital experience

License : Must have valid PT license

Certifications : Must have BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Must-Have :

• ID PT license (must be attached to resume)
• BLS certification
• 2 years recent PT hospital experience

Description :

Physical therapists (PTs) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages who have medical problems or health-related conditions that limit their mobility.

PTs examine each individual and develop a treatment plan using various techniques to promote movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.

They also work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness and wellness-oriented programs for healthier, more active lifestyles.

Physical therapists provide care in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.

State licensure is required in each state where a physical therapist practices.

This position is primarily to cover an acute rehabilitation unit, but if the census is low, float to inpatient will be required.
